We are delighted to announce that Stepping Stones Nursery and Pre-school has been
awarded a Warwickshire Inclusion Kite-Marking Scheme (W.inc.K.S) award for 2020/21. This award, presented by the Integrated Disability Services arm of Warwickshire County Council, is awarded to early years settings that have demonstrated excellent inclusive practice in supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and their families.
The award scheme, which has been running since 2017, aims to recognise and celebrate childcare settings which offer high quality SEND provision, and who welcome children with special educational needs and disabilities. Tracey Speakman, Deputy Manager of Stepping Stones Nursery and Pre-school says:
"We are proud to have been awarded a W.inc.K.S award by Warwickshire County Council in recognition of our provision for SEND individuals and their families. Our goal at Stepping Stones has always been to provide an environment where all children feel like they belong; a place where they can come and express themselves, and feel valued, as individuals. At Stepping Stones we welcome all children, and as a non-profit, we are are solely focussed on providing our children with the best possible environment which allows them to flourish as individuals, and their personality to shine through."
